Privately owned and managed, the Ersu offers truly reasonable rates, a fantastic location, quality 2-star guestrooms and warm Turkish hospitality. Located in the upcoming Sirkeci area of Istanbul’s historic centre, the Ersu Hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk from Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia – surely one of the World’s Greatest Wonders. Everything on a tourist’s sightseeing menu is within walking distance, and this includes the Blue Mosque, Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar and Basilica Cistern, to name but a few. Rooms at the Ersu are simply furnished but are well maintained and offer clean, comfortable accommodation, which includes TV and private facilities. Breakfast is served buffet style and guests are also sure to appreciate the large Ottoman style public areas, which include a bar – great for that relaxing drink after a long day’s bargain hunting and sightseeing.
